From here… and elsewhere

5210 avenue du Parc, Montréal (514) 439 5435

What could be better than sharing a great meal with friends? Damas Restaurant
lends itself well to this sentiment. The atmosphere is lively, the staff professional
and friendly, and the kitchen? Simply delicious! Damas features Mediterranean
cuisine. The freshness and quality of ingredients, flavours, and spices will transport
you. Only the Middle Eastern sea and blue sky are missing! The fattouche salad,
the mezze, as well as the maklouba eggplant with chicken, or braised lamb (a
Syrian specialty) are dishes that will have you coming back for more. Don’t forget
to reserve!

48 rue Dante, Montréal (514) 508 6508

Following hardware store, Dante, cooking classes at his mother’s
school, television shows, and two beautiful cookbooks, it was only
natural that Stefano Faita open his own restaurant. The new spot in
Little Italy is Impasto, a 52 seat resto featuring simple but tasteful
décor, and frequented by a trendy, urban clientele, but above all
offering authentic, tasty Italian food that will have you coming back.
Thanks to Stefano and to Michele Forgione for serving up this latest
gastronomic adventure.

Built in 1929, this luxury hotel in the heart of the village will charm you with
the quality of the cuisine, and a decor that is at once modern and antique.
Close to the famous pebbled Carmel Beach, the Auberge presents a menu
worthy of the finest Relais & Châteaux, and boasts a wine list of more than
4,500 bottles. Master Chefs prepare innovative fresh seafood as well as
prized meat dishes. We opted for the tasting menu accompanied by wine
recommendations of the sommelier, and finished with a sweet concoction
of the master pastry chef.
