Something you couldn’t do without: “My giant Moleskin notebook. It’s my agenda and scrapbook at the same time and is an indispensable work tool. I can illustrate my concepts and ideas.”
The accomplishment you are most proud of: “My career path. I have a unique job which uses all my talents; work and pleasure are combined in a stimulating whirlpool of creativity. As VP of marketing, I have a hand in everything!”
Your favourite restaurant: “I’m a huge fan of big museum restaurants. My favourites are The Modern at the MoMA in New York, the Tate Modern in London, and the Marly at the Louvre.
The perfect before-dinner drink: “The Black Rose Royal at Plaza Athénée in Paris – after walking all over avenue Montaigne visiting the boutiques.”
A city that inspires you: “London”.
The trip of your dreams: “Paris to Venice on the Orient Express.”
A designer whose work you admire: “Azzedine Alaïa. Above and beyond the beauty of his work, the integrity and the discipline of his artistic and creative approach inspire.”
The best places to shop outside Canada: “Liberty and The Shop at Bluebird in London, because you can find classic and edgy things in the same place. In New York – Bergdorf Goodman, where they have the most beautiful windows in the world.”
Your favourite accessory? “A pair of sterling silver, knot-shaped cufflinks I received for my 40th birthday.”
The ultimate in glamour is: “To challenge conventions with elegance.”
A great painter: “Cy Twombly.”
Your guilty pleasure: “Desserts and pastries.”
For you, the ultimate in luxury is: “Things which are personalized, custom made, or handmade by craftspeople.”
Your philosophy of life? «If the shoe fits, buy one in every colour! ”
Three values that define you? “Creativity, passion, and discipline.”
A cause that means a lot to you? “Ogilvy is very involved in a number of social and cultural causes. My cause is Ogilvy en fête, a mega- shopping event to benefit the Ste-Justine UHC Foundation.”
How do you define happiness? “Being in my house on the coast of the Magdalen Islands, far away from everything. You have to see a sunset on the beach there to believe it!”
